Strange bookies are working there
Ran servers there for a full decade. Due to work this became overkill so I needed to cancel my contract. Changed into a monthly contract at first, send them several tickets (in their own interface) announcing the date I wanted to make the last payment, and when I would shutdown the server. Did this months ahead of the end date. Then all of a sudden I get an email that I need to pay for the month AFTER the contract had already ended. I told them this was incorrect, had even switched off the server on the pre-announced date (the 14th of March 2023). Despite the proof I have of that, they keep on threatening me about that one month extra payment. I always paid in advance, not afterwards, as I did here as well. I repeatedly told them I refuse to pay for unused services, that they should stop asking, re-read all tickets about the cancellation etc. Now they tell me they're handing it over to some agency to get the money from me. Absolutely abhorrent behavior towards a loyal customer. I've never been a second late with 1 payment. So: Used to be a decent bunch of two techies, now this is a scamming business which tries to threaten you into paying for un-used services. Just cancelling a contract months ahead of time using normal written email or tickets is not sufficient according to their bookies. Avoid this business like the plague!
