Website security solutions provider SiteLock and web hosting automation platform provider
WHMCS have formed a partnership. SiteLock, which has headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, is recognized globally for cloud-based services that protect against malware. The company’s solution provides automatic malware removal and protects around 8 million websites from threats and website vulnerabilities. SiteLock becomes WHMCS’ ‘preferred website security provider’.
WHMCS, which has headquarters in Houston, Texas, United States, was established in 2005. The company bills itself as “the world's leading online billing and automation platform for web hosts and domain registrars”. It offers an integrated platform that allows web hosting providers to automate operations. The platform also helps improve customer service by offering customers “self-service access to manage their billing and services”. WHMCS also offers API integration with “leading web hosting control panels, domain registrars and related web services, and many more apps” to provide services to around 45,000 companies globally.
The partnership makes SiteLock the first website security provider to “be integrated into the WHMCS MarketConnect platform” and gives web hosting companies that leverage WHMCS access to SiteLock’s security solutions. These include “malware protection and remediation solutions” such as SiteLock’s ‘Find’, ‘Fix’, ‘Defend’, and ‘SiteLock 911’. It also provides access to a Web Application Firewall (WAF) that offers a Content Delivery Network (CDN).
