Web Hosting Provider AIT Offers 4th of July Promotion

July 3, 2007
July 3, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider AIT is offering a 4th of July promotion, it was announced yesterday. The company’s domain registration arm, AIT Domains (http://www.aitdomains.com) is selling domains at a promotion price to celebrate the occasion.

Like other domain registrars, AIT Domains is raising its domain name prices as a result of increases made by ICANN. “Because our margin is so low on domains, we have no choice but to raise our rates,” explained AIT Domains Project Manager, Brandy Modrell. “Unlike so many of our competitors who charge upwards of $15 and in some cases even $35 per domain, AIT Domains charges only what we absolutely have to to cover our costs.”

Prices are scheduled to go up on July 9, 2007 and the company is encouraging its customers to renew existing domains for additional years and to register new domains before prices go up. The company also “welcomes domains transferred from other registrars at these same low rates”.

“With AIT Domains, you can transfer a domain you have with another registrar and save tons of money. With the average cost of domains today being about $15, you can save almost 50% by switching to AIT Domains" added Modrell. “That equates to two domain years for the price of one compared to most of our competitors.”

Current domain prices will remain in effect until July 6, 2007. AIT Domains also has several discounted hosting plans available.
