Web Host Streamline.Net Helps Customers’ Reduce Carbon Footprints

May 16, 12007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host Streamline.Net (http://www.streamline.net) is helping its customers’ reduce their carbon footprints by enabling them to become carbon neutral, the company announced yesterday.

The company has partnered with CoCo2 - a carbon neutralizing company. Streamline.Net itself is now entirely carbon neutral and its customers’ can offset the carbon they generate by planting trees through the services of CoCo2.

“The internet has already helped cut down carbon emissions by allowing people to shop from home, however there’s still a carbon implication to powering a server and this is why I m so exciting about offing this new service,” explained Streamline.Net’s CEO, Andrew Dollamore. “Now everyone hosted with Streamline.Net has the option to do their bit, and I only hope our competitors decide to follow suit!”

StreamlineNet caters for around 60,000 customers with around 100,000 domain names. The company claims to add around 200 domains to their servers on a daily basis.
