According to the company, its new “feature rich” hosting service “leapfrogs other offerings in the marketplace”.
Register.com has taken an alternative approach to the usual focus on massive space allotments and low functionality. The company’s new service offers the space and price comparable to other web hosting packages, but has “layered unique features and functionality” on top of these. With a guaranteed 100% up-time, the service includes a Site Restore feature which allows users to automatically save up to 13 copies of a site (one per day for 8 consecutive days and an additional one copy per week for 5 weeks).
