Web Hosting Provider MaximumASP Adds Dual Core Processor Technology |
 |
May 9, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Windows-based web hosting provider MaximumASP (http://www.maximumasp.com/) has deployed dual core processor technology from Intel and AMD as part of its web hosting services, the company announced yesterday. Dual core processors have two cores geared towards different facets of processing. As a result, they are faster, and more powerful.
"The move to the newest technology is part of MaximumASPs ongoing goal of providing our customers with expertise in emerging technologies to enable their business growth. Increasing technology requirements and the growth of multi-threaded applications will continue to make the newer dual core technologies very useful and powerful with an affordable price," explained MaximumASPs Managing Partner of Sales, Mr. Silas Boyle.
Alongside Dell PowerEdge hardware MaximumASP offers 64-bit operating systems, which, according to Boyle, run up to 20% faster on the same hardware while still retaining 32-bit compatibility.
Established in 2000, MaximumASP is based in Louisville, Kentucky, USA and hosts around 44,000 domains for customers in over 60 countries. According to the company, its server packages include comprehensive network protection, automated server patching, and advanced server monitoring, public and private networks, tier-one bandwidth and industry leading security practices. |
