Web Hosting Provider IPOWER Adds Ruby on Rails Support
June 22, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting provider IPOWER (http://www.ipower.com) has announced it has added Ruby on Rails support to its web hosting packages. The programming platform which is currently enjoying a lot of attention in the development community is gaining significant popularity and as a result, like IPOWER, many web hosting providers are now offering Ruby on Rails (ROR) packages.
ROR is now available to IPOWER customers with a minimum of an IPOWER Pro web hosting plan and sits alongside an extensive range of web page program capabilities already available to IPOWER customers. These include PHP, Perl, Bash and Python.
Ruby On Rails is a great, easy-to-use programming language that simplifies the programming process, suggested IPOWERs VP of IT Mr. Michael Funke. We know that our customers will appreciate having the option of using Ruby On Rails to develop their sites.
