Alongside greater Microsoft Exchange intergration, ColdFusion 8 offers better performance and enhanced encryption and security – including RSA BSAFE Crypto-J libraries, which provide FIPs 140-certified strong encryption. Alongside improved .NET integration, ColdFusion 8 offers PDF capabilities where applications can dynamically generate PDF documents and forms.
