Web Hosting Provider Intermedia Offers Microsoft Expression Web and SharePoint for Free |

June 18, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider and Microsoft Gold Certified partner Intermedia is offering customers free versions of Microsoft Expression Web and SharePoint for free, it was announced recently. According to the company, Intermedia is offering this promotion as a way to provide customers with “tools that will help them to fully optimize their SharePoint Server and web hosting experience”.
The company’s Exchange Server 2007 customers who sign up for SharePoint Server hosting with 2 GB storage or higher will receive a free copy of SharePoint Designer 2007, which enables customization of SharePoint sites. In addition, Windows web hosting customers who sign up for annual hosting plans at the Standard level or above will receive a free copy of Expression Web, a professional design tool.

SharePoint Designer 2007 allows users to customize SharePoint sites with options designed for business. Key features include ASP.NET 2.0 support, cascading style sheets (CSS) and the Windows Workflow Foundation; full support for and easy creation of ASP.NET master pages; ability to connect multiple SharePoint lists, document libraries, SQL Server databases and web services; and creation of custom workflows with built-in workflow designer.
Expression Web reduces complexity and eases data integration by using rich tools and task panes to quickly incorporate XML, ASP.NET and XHTML. The software gives precise control of page layout and formatting and allows users to build dynamic, interactive pages that are optimized for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility. |
