Commerce Planet, Inc. Acquires Software Development and Online Web Hosting Company Interaccurate, Inc. |

October 9, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Commerce Planet, Inc. has acquired software development and online web hosting Company Interaccurate, Inc., it was announced recently. Interaccurate has been a primary developer for Commerce Planet's outsourced software needs and offers a data center and colocation facility. The company assisted Commerce Planet with the development of technologies for www.MyOnlineChat.com, WebBuilder, DatIntel and other critical marketing and sales tools.
Discussing the acquisition, President Charlie Gugliuzza explained, "First by completing this acquisition we will see an immediate impact to our bottom line. Interaccurate was the provider for WebBuilder, the software product basis for our top performing product www.OnlineSupplier.com. This acquisition will eliminate the licensing and hosting fees previously paid to Interaccurate. Second, this acquisition dramatically supplements our programming capabilities and decreases our reliance on yet another third party service provider. Commerce Planet is well on its way to achieving complete operational independence. Finally, we expect to see new revenue streams develop by leveraging Commerce Planet's existing customer base with Interaccurate's software technologies and development capabilities."
Commerce Planet’s acquisition of Interaccurate was completed early October and the company now owns Interaccurate’s intellectual property and the web hosting facility that currently processes Commerce Planet's online traffic. |
