Missouri Valley Technologies Picks Inflow for Safe & Secure Solutions; Company Leaves IT Management to Experts and Rapidly Establishes Its Core Business |

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 2004--Today, Inflow Inc., the quality provider of outsourced technology services, announced it has signed new customer Missouri Valley Technologies, a leading provider of IT solutions for community banking institutions throughout the U.S.
Missouri Valley Technologies provides the components to build banking information systems, including internal management systems such as Data Warehousing and Asset Liability systems, Teller systems, Internet banking systems, and links into nationwide ATM and Debit Card systems.
Chuck Strubinger, president of Missouri Valley Technologies, previously owned a fully equipped data center facility but eventually found he wanted to devote 100% of his time delivering his company's applications. He chose to sell the facility and outsource the more "mechanical" functions -- those related to maintaining a secure and stable operating environment -- to a third party. The company now utilizes Inflow's world-class facilities and capabilities as a competitive advantage.
"We wanted to offload the daily support to experts who have the scale necessary to provide an affordable, first-class environment," said Strubinger. "When we began looking for a provider, we had three very simple criteria -- safety, security and stability. Inflow's track record was very impressive, with multiple layers of security, 24 x 7 support, and true financial stability. Also, the data center was first rate -- overall a very disciplined and orderly environment, which helped to seal our decision."
For Missouri Valley Technologies, the benefits of outsourcing data center services versus providing them in-house were clear. "The Inflow service costs us less than the similar data center environment that we could create, and in the long run we would not have provided the same stable environment we have at Inflow," added Strubinger. "And perhaps most importantly, we would have needed to shift capital away from revenue generating products to instead purchase infrastructure components -- which would have restricted our growth."
Missouri Valley Technologies began focusing on its Information Systems applications, exclusively, in mid-June of this year and converted its first two clients by mid-August. Says Strubinger: "One of the reasons we were able to get up and running so quickly was that Inflow had already created the infrastructure necessary to support our systems, and Inflow's relationship with the various telecom providers allowed for rapid delivery of data circuits. We were very pleased at how fast we were able to deliver our services with Inflow as a partner."
Inflow supplies managed hosting services to Missouri Valley Technologies, including Internet access, managed security, and managed intrusion detection solutions. Inflow also monitors the company's network equipment and all point-to-point circuits.
