ViaWest is to buy IT company AppliedTrust. Alongside colocation Shaw Communications, whose corporate headquarters are in Greenwood Village, Colorado, USA, specializes in providing “individualized IT environments” that include scalable and secure public, compliant and private cloud solutions that leverage a customers’ existing IT infrastructure. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.
AppliedTrust specializes in “security, compliance, DevOps, and infrastructure consulting services” and caters to customers that include businesses and government agencies. The company’s offerings will add significant value to ViaWest’s platform. AppliedTrust’s services extend to establishing secure hybrid services and cover migration and compliance issues.
