Web Hosting Provider Hosting.com Offers Holiday Promotion Aimed at Benefiting Children in Developing Countries |

The company will “donate a laptop to One Laptop per Child (OLPC)” for every server it sells during November and December 2007.

OLPC provides textbook sized XO Laptops with wireless routers, which are designed to be durable and can be re-charged “by human power”. They are currently being used in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Central America, Ethiopia, Libya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Pakistan, and Thailand. A $200 donation enables OLPC to pay for and deliver one XO Laptop. Hosting.com anticipates donating a minimum of $10,000.
