Web Hosting Provider Host Gator Introduces Speed Widget
January 9, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Host Gator (http://www.hostgator.com) has introduced a widget that will allow users to evaluate their web hosting provider, the company announced recently. The widget is free and enables visitors to websites and blogs to rate how quickly they are loading.
"This simple tool gives our hosting customers valuable insight into their website's performance," explained Host Gator’s President and Founder Brent Oxley. "We are always looking for ways to add value to each and every hosting account we sell and this is just another example of how we do that."
To install the widget site owners cut and paste a small amount of HTML code into their websites. Once installed, the widget will allow site owners to see how visitors rate the loading times of their sites. A map will also indicate where visitors are logging on from.
"This tool also enables our hosting customers to evaluate the performance of Host Gator, their web hosting provider," added Mr. Oxley. "We are absolutely confident in our track record and welcome the chance for our customers to put us to the test."
