January 14, 2005 -- Host Color (hostcolor.com), a leading budget hosting provider, has recently added SSH to it's control panel. This a major improvement of the Next Color server management software since the first version has been released in September 2004.
Last month Host Color also installed PHP 5 and MySQL 4 to to its server. Perl has also been updated to the latest version. The company has also adopted the Linux kernel version 2.6. "The development of our new Next Color control panel has enabled us to offer to the customer's site a modern software environment. It runs on Fedora Core 2 operating system. Most web hosting companies are notorious of how cautious they are to adopt new software. Host Color has however stepped forward and has now updated nearly all of its servers", says the company Executive Drector Vesselin Drangajov.
Along with the upgraded software Host Color has purchased new servers that will be installed at the end of January. "We believe we have found a working balance between the cost-effectiveness and the productiveness of our equipment. We now have upgraded our software and hardware and will continue to improve support and customer experience." says Venelin Mihailov - quality assurance manager.
In February and March Host Color will focus it's efforts on a new customer area. The company will develop integrated customer interface where the customers will be able to fully monitor the parameters of the services used. "We will implement our business philosophy in our new customer area. It will allow customers not just to check their services; they will have a better communication with our departments. We aim to integrate the customer so they can set the direction of Host Color's development. We succeed not only because we provide a good service but for also because we take time to talk to our customers", says Vesselin Drangajov.
Host Color indicated it will continue to develop its budget service but will also soon be offering a business solution as well. This year Host Color will aim to attract corporate clients by offering accessible plans, uncompromising quality and innovative to hosting features.
