SharePoint allows businesses to increase productivity, teamwork and efficiency through improved collaboration. The system allows a company’s employees to work on projects together, create lists of data, update files, share ideas, and collaborate in other ways. It allows a company’s departments to set up web pages and intranets and it offers a range of templates that perform a variety of business orientated tasks.
