October 8, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Exchange Hosting Provider groupSPARK has received Microsoft Gold Certification, the company announced yesterday. To receive certification the company went through a rigorous process that required it to “maintain high standards of technical ability and training, to work with their existing customer base for surveys and references, and to reach certain thresholds for company size and importance to Microsoft's market plan”.
Discussing the award, Ravi Agarwal, groupSPARK's CEO, suggested, "This is a big step for groupSPARK. There are not very many Gold Certified Partners. The process to gain this certification is a challenge and our customers do not take this status lightly." Mr. Agarwal added, "We have been working extensively with Microsoft from presenting with them on Exchange Hosting topics to actually being in the Microsoft booth at major industry conferences.
