Web Hosting Provider Globat.com Sponsors Child Birth |

March 2, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – It seems to be one a day at the moment… The latest round of curious activities for a web hosting provider involves Globat.com sponsoring a birth. The company will sponsor 21-year-old Asia Francis who will give birth to daughter Samiah mid April.
According to the company, the mother-to-be and medical staff involved in the birth will wear Globat.com t-shirts and hats during the delivery. The child will also be given a temporary tattoo of Globat.com’s logo. The birth will also be videotaped shown on the company web site.
"Who says being pregnant can't be fun! We are looking forward to our big event, the birth of our first child, and what better way is there to let her know how happy we are to welcome her into the world than by sharing it with Globat.com, her birth sponsor. We look forward to adding them to her baby book," said Ms. Francis.
"The opportunity to sponsor the birth of a child was simply too exciting to pass up and all of us at Globat are truly thrilled to be a part of this awesome journey," said Globat.com President and CEO Ben R. Neumann. "This is certainly a rare event, and mom has informed us that the sponsorship money will be put to good use with the added financial strain of raising little Samiah."
