August 28, 2012 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – An extensive eight-week voting session by German IT specialist journal funkschau has ended with
Hetzner Online taking the spoils after being named the top Internet Provider for 2012.
The web hosting provider and data center operator was selected for the category for the first time by readers of the journal and managed to secure top spot on its debut in the vote.
The annual awards seek to name the top carries and providers in the industry, with other categories honouring the best managed services, IP centrex and customer service numbers.
Christian Fitz, company spokesman for Hetzner Online, was presented with the award by the Chief Editor of funkschau, Ralf Ladner, and Advertising Manager, Michael Nerke. Following the receipt of the accolade, Fitz spoke of the joy the company took in being named the top Internet Provider for 2012.
