Hosting Automation Control Provider Ensim Upgrades Unify for Microsoft

February 20, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Hosting automation control provider Ensim (http://www.ensim.com) has upgraded Unify for Microsoft, the company announced recently. Unify, a unified service delivery platform, includes support for Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC), Windows-based Hosting (WBH) technology, Microsoft Connected Services Framework (CSF). The solution also offers a new resource selection policy feature.

Unify can be installed over an existing HMC deployment and provisions a range of services including RIM's BlackBerry and BroadSoft's BroadWorks. The system enables users to offer a complete suite of Windows hosted services alongside applications VoIP and Unified Messaging and mobility services.

"Unify 3.2 provides our customers with increased functionality and dozens of new features that facilitate the launch and management of Windows-based services," explained Ensim Corporation’s Vice President of Engineering, Arun Arunkumar. .

Unify offers an administration tool that allows users to control and deploy services such as Exchange 2003, Windows SharePoint services, Live Communications Server 2005, Windows and Linux web hosting with ASP.NET, MySQL and MS SQL 2005.
The system can also deliver third party applications including Fenestrae Communications Server, Cycos, SmarterMail, Siemens HiPath OpenScape, and Broadsoft BroadWorks. It also supports .NET 2.0.
