Web Hosting Provider DiscountASP.NET Launches ASP.NET 3.5 Hosting |

December 6, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider DiscountASP.NET has launched ASP.NET 3.5 hosting, it was reported yesterday. The company’s web servers have .NET Framework 3.5 and earlier versions installed side-by-side, allowing customers to choose which ASP.NET version they wish to use. Customers can select which version they require through an ASP.NET Version Chooser tool at the DiscountASP.NET hosting control panel.
.NET Framework 3.5 offers a range of options not found on previous versions. These include ASP.NET AJAX, Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and “new tools for developers to simplify building applications using Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation”. The recently launched Visual Studio 2008 has the capability to target .NET Framework 3.5 or previous versions.
"DiscountASP.NET is committed to being an early adopter for new .NET technology.” Explained DiscountASP.NET’s VP Marketing, Takeshi Eto. “Now, our customers can use new features of .NET Framework 3.5, such as LINQ."
DiscountASP.NET also offers .NET 3.5 through free Windows Server 2008 hosting beta test accounts available to its customers. The IIS7 beta hosting program is intended to give customers a “jump start” on experimenting with ASP.NET 3.5 on the next generation Windows 2008 server. |
