Web Hosting Provider DiscountASP.NET Launches Free SQL Tools
August 4, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider DiscountASP.NET (http://www.DiscountASP.NET) has announced the launch of an “automated on-demand SQL database backup, restore, and shrink database tool suite.” The tools are available through the DiscountASP.NET control panel free of charge to account holders and available to customers with either SQL 2005 or SQL 2000 database hosting.
“With this SQL tool suite launch, we automate what is typically a manual system administrator task and provide our SQL hosting customers with increased flexibility and real-time control over their SQL data management. These on-demand SQL tools are delivered through our custom built ASP.NET control panel application,” explained Takeshi Eto, VP Marketing. “DiscountASP.NET is committed to innovation in ASP.NET and SQL hosting.”
The tools include SQL Backup which allows customers to create a real-time backup of SQL databases, SQL Restore which restores an SQL database from a backup file, and Shrink database which shrinks an SQL database to the smallest size possible.
