Digital document solutions company Nitro Software, Inc. (
Nitro Software) has launched Nitro Pro+ 10 - a cloud-based Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) PDF solution. Nitro Pro+ 10 mirrors the functionality of the company’s Nitro Pro 10 desktop product and “accelerates the way businesses create, prepare and sign documents.”
Nitro Software has headquarters in San Francisco, California, USA but has a presence in Dublin, Ireland, Nitra, Slovakia and Melbourne, Australia. The company’s products are used by around 500,000 businesses worldwide, including “over 50% of the Fortune 500”. Pro+ 10 allows users to create, convert, digitally sign and share documents directly from a desktop. Its launch was a result of investment the company received in November of last year.
To improve the effectiveness of its solutions, Nitro formed a partnership with the PDF Association – an organization that was established in 2006 with a view to promoting and implementing PDF technology standards. Nitro Software surveyed over 1,000 “knowledge workers” to establish the systems and procedures that apply within organizations. Around 55% of respondents suggested reviewing and signing documents created bottlenecks within their organizations. Cloud-based Nitro Pro+ 10 addresses such issues by facilitating eSignatures and integrating with document storage solutions such as with Google Drive and Dropbox.
