In-Stat Report Names Web Hosting Providser Covad Communications Hosted VoIP Market Leader |

January 5, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – A 2007 In-Stat report has named web hosting provider Covad Communications (http://www.covad.com) the market leader in hosted VoIP for the business segment, the company announced recently. This is the fourth year that Covad has been ranked number one in the area by this particular report.
David Lemelin, the author of the report, cites the company’s success as due to its “effective use of existing broadband distribution channels,” alongside its “Voice Optimized Access service, which enables voice to be prioritized over data packets.” “Covad has remained the hosted VoIP market leader by providing businesses with the right value proposition,” explained Mr. Lemelin. “Covad has adapted well to the changing dynamics of the business marketplace.
