Covad Appoints New VP and CFO John Trewin |

March 2, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Covad today announced that it will appoint John E. Trewin as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
"I am pleased that someone with John's background and experience has agreed to join Covad as our chief financial officer," said Charles Hoffman, president and chief executive officer of Covad. "His financial experience combined with a background in high-tech, Silicon Valley companies will help ensure that Covad remains financially sound and maintains the strong financial controls we've already put into place."
Trewin was most recently CFO of Trewin and Associates, counseling domestic and international clients in the areas of finance, SEC compliance, investor relations and information technology. Prior to that, he spent seven years as Vice President and CFO of semiconductor products manufacturer California Micro Devices Corporation.
Trewin also served as CFO for The O'Brien Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of architectural, industrial and automotive coatings and supplies and as Vice President, CFO and Director of electronics goods manufacturer Ampex Corporation.
