Computer Technology Corporation Oracle Releases Software to Make Migration to Hybrid Oracle Cloud Easier
Computer technology corporation Oracle has released Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Release 5 - software that makes migration to its hybrid cloud solution easier. By making migration easier, Oracle hopes to encourage companies to utilize its hybrid cloud options for their “software-based workloads”.

The release of the software underscores Oracle’s commitment to hybrid cloud computing – a model where software offered by clouds mirrors the look and operation of software used by a company on a daily basis, thus reducing the need to move workloads to the cloud and back to in house operations.

Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Release 5 streamlines IT architecture as companies transition to cloud solutions by allowing administrators to quickly monitor workload activity. The solution enables users to manage both the Oracle Cloud Platform and in-house tasks through the same interface.

Oracle Enterprise Manager leverages Oracle Enterprise Manager Hybrid Cloud Gateway to allow Oracle Cloud and an internal network to communicate through the Internet. The system recognizes cloud-based WebLogic application servers and copies of Oracle databases and manages them in the same fashion as they would be should they reside in a company’s internal network. As such, there is no need to establish a Virtual Private Network to contact the Oracle Cloud.
