Web Hosting Provider Commercial Network Services Bundles WhosOn and Offsite Backup |

July 4, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Commercial Network Services (http://www.commercialnetworkservices.com) has added a number of features to its service plans, it was reported yesterday. WhosOn and Offsite Backup Services are now bundled into the company’s web publishing, dedicated and virtual server hosting plans, available at a “tiered discount”. In addition, the company has also increased available resources for its web hosting plans.
Commercial Network Services started testing WhosOn with a small group of subscribers a few weeks ago. The test proved “an overwhelming success” and the company took the solution live. WhosOn provides live web statistics, live chat, and web analytics software. It will be provided free to Commercial Network Services until August 1, 2007.
The company’s new Offsite Backup Services (OBS) provides emergency virtual server and virtual desktop restore space that allows users to recover data from a major loss. OBS also allows users to restore individual files to previous versions or restore data to a different computer. The company is offering a free 15-day trial after which there will be monthly fee.
Commercial Network Services offers a range of services including dedicated servers, streaming media, domain registration, online marketing, website development and eCommerce. Alongside WhosOn and Offsite Backup Services the company has “completed a detailed analysis of subscriber virtual server usage patterns” and used the results to improve service plans. This has resulted in an increase in RAM and new plans now offer 384MB. |
