Essex Technology Group, Inc. (Essextec) has joined the ‘Google Cloud Services Partner Program’. Essextec, which has head offices in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, United States, was established in 1994. A subsidiary of Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based Converge Technology Solutions Corporation (Converge), Essextec “solves significant business challenges” for its customers by “applying cloud, cognitive, and cybersecurity solutions”. Its suite of services include analytics, ‘Big Data’, data management, managed services, and infrastructure options. Its partners include Amazon, Cisco, Google, and IBM. It joins the program as a ‘Reselling and Consulting Partner’.
The Google Cloud Partner Program is available to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Value-added Resellers (VARs). The program is designed to support companies offering Google Cloud solutions. Those included in the program are offered support in areas like marketing, sales, training and technical resources. This support enables companies to benefit from additional revenue opportunities. The program will also enable Essextec to provide secure cognitive applications in hybrid clouds. Essextec's ‘Cognitive Innovations Business Unit’ will now focus on solutions that leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP)’s ‘Big Data’, data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities.
