New Year's Eve Webcam of UNICEF Fundraisers Hosted By Web Hosting Provider C I Host |

The webcam will cover the Los Angeles and New York City components of the auction which includes concert tickets and visits with world famous DJs Carl Cox, Sander Kleinenberg and Sasha. Proceeds from the auction will go to UNICEF.
"This is a way that we can engage the good will of a generation that considers both music and the Internet to be integral parts of their lives," said Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "These young men and women probably aren't reached through traditional appeals for help, but an online auction of events they love is a perfect way to give them the opportunity to help the children of the world."
The initial concept behind the auction was to aid victims of the Asian tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. "Because we know many people in the dance music industry through Sasha, we decided to put on a gig," said Steve Coe, one of the people credited as having the idea for the auction, and father of DJ Sasha. "That led to the idea of an online auction, and when people heard that, the top DJs and clubs in the world all started to get involved."
Involved, Inc. needed a web hosting company that could handle the traffic generated by the auction and C I Host fit the bill.
