avidInteractive Productions Announces Release of ServeraSuite 2007 |

September 28, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – avidInteractive Productions, LLC (http://www.avidinteractive.com/) has announced the release of ServeraSuite 2007, it was reported yesterday. The result of development that started in late August, version 1.1.0 of the solution offers a range of new features based on feedback from current avidInteractive Software customers. It also includes fixes to problems encountered in the previous version.
User feedback highlighted the need for a fix for SSH components that enabled rebooting services and servers from ServeraSuite and used to obtain real-time server load statistics. Special attention was paid to the ability to restart servers and services and the way ServeraSuite notifies server administrators of server issues. The task tray notification pop up has been completely redesigned, and the solution now has multi-level tiered email notification.
According to avidInteractive Productions, future ServeraSuite features are already in development and include “messaging between admin and staff, automated restarting of servers and services on failed checks, server information snapshots,” and advanced features designed to simplify server monitoring and administration. |
