Through the partnership, Apollo Hosting will provide a complete PCI compliance validation service to its ecommerce customers entirely free of charge.
With credit card fraud and identity on the rise a set of industry-wide security standards were required to restore customer confidence in online credit transactions. As a result Visa and Mastercard collaborated on the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard which is now mandatory for merchants accepting payments using these cards. Apollo Hosting will provide its customers with a full solution to enable them to be certified to the PCI standard. This will include “quarterly vulnerability scanning, an interactive self assessment questionnaire, and complete technical support”.
