Wall Street private equity and mezzanine debt firm Cloud Equity Group has acquired
Just199 Hosting, a South Carolina-based web host which is part of the HOSTED HERE LLC group of companies. The move is part of the investment management company's ongoing strategy of acquiring key players in the web hosting market.
Established in 2006, Just199 Hosting specializes in budget hosting and offers a range of services which include Tier-1 shared and reseller hosting, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), and forum hosting. Under the leadership of Dave Wykofka, the company targets small- and medium-sized business customers, offering services at around 15% of the price of typical web hosting services. Just199 Hosting will be absorbed into Cloud Equity Group's "portfolio" of service providers.
